Deacon has been just the best dog ever. He lived with my late mother in law up until she died, then he became my father in laws dog. The idea was that mum had the boys and I had the girls.........and what a great boy he has been. He was our secret weapon up until we retired him in 2006, he sired his last litter with Barley and they produced 11 pups.........way to go Deacon.

He has been a perfect gentleman in his stud work, being the father or our Betts, Dream, Hope, grandfather of Faith and Diva, and now a great grandfather too. He has also been a super pet, and working dog, enjoying picking up the odd rabbit or two.

He has sired just 4 litters for friends special girls. But we kept him to ourself as much as we could!!

With great sadness we lost Deacon in 2007. He was 12 years old. We have so much to thank him for........he produced us such lovely pups, and without him we would not have Bets, Dream, Hope and their offspring. But most of all we lost a true friend. He was a dog in a million. Gone from us, but certainly not forgotten. xx
