Benedict Farm Boarding Kennels... News for 2015

Another year has gone and we are now coming up to our 9th year, last year just did not stop. We are very lucky to have so many returning customers and its lovely to meet new ones.

Here at the kennels we have seen some changes in Staff, We sadly said goodbye to Henry who has gone off to play with his electrics! We said Hello to Bronwyn who many of you have now met. Bron fancied a career change, from children to dogs...just as I did!! She is really enjoying it here, long may that continue. We still have Sam with us ( who we welcomed to our family properly this year after marrying our Eldest daughter) so he now officially is our son in law! You will also still see Sophie here walking the dogs, and you will now probably see Emma around ( our younger daughter) who is on maternity leave and about to have a baby. Our first grandchild, no we dont look old enough I know!!!

Our kennels have been very busy again this year, please just to remind you to book early to avoid disappointment. Holiday times are always full, as soon as you know you need to kennel your dog please do book in.

Day boarding is always available.

The kennels themselves remain the same apart from the wooden outdoor block having been revamped. New roofs upgraded by being insulated, new Doors, all repainted, and are still heated, and have lights inside and out.

The brick blocks also remain the same and our Environmental Health officer was very pleased with everything when he gave us a spot check visit in July!

We are still boarding dogs from a wide area throughout Kent and Sussex, including local Villages ie Northiam, Beckley, Staplecross, Hurstgreen, Etchingham, Burwash, Bodiam, Udimore, Hawkhurst, Sandhurst, Ewhurst, Westfield, Sedlescombe, Benenden, Ticehurst, Wadhurst, Biddenden, Camber, Staplehurst,Fairlight and Towns and Cities, Battle, Rye, Hastings,Bexhill, Maidstone, Eastbourne, Hailsham, London, Liverpool, Brighton, Tunbridge Wells, Sevenoaks, Canterbury, Ashford, Dover, and Counties Hertfordshire, Suffolk, Surrey, West Sussex, Hampshire and of course Kent and Sussex. Beings that we are so close to the Channel Tunnel and Gatwick airport we even get dogs travelling from France and Germany come to stay with us!!

As you know all dogs get walked Three times a day around our lovely two fenced paddocks where we walk with them and they can come off of lead and have a great romp around. If they are sociable they can go out in supervised groups. If not they can go out alone. Here at Benedict we feel that the exercise is very important.

If you have more than one dog we have lovely big kennels where they can stay together as a family unit which again to us is very important.

Please keep up to date with your dogs vaccinations, including the kennel cough vaccine. We can not accept dogs who are not vaccinated.

Please do call us for a chat if you are a new client and hopefully we can help or if you would like to book in again this year please call as soon as you know any dates.

New clients and anyone with a new dog or puppy will be invited over to meet us and have a look around, and we still offer your dog a free trail 24 hour stay to break them in gently before your dog comes from a longer stay.

We look forward to another busy year and seeing clients old and new.

Best wishes from the team here!
