'Billie joined our family a year ago from a rescue centre and is a very settled and happy little dog. However when she first arrived she was very depressed and frightened so when we were invited to a family event and could not take her with us we were very nervous about putting her in kennels for the night. We need not have worried; Tracy and Tim were so caring and kind and we were delighted when Billie came home clearly having enjoyed her stay with her new friends and she has returned several times since. Bennedicts is more like a substitute home than a boarding kennels and we would strongly recommend you take a visit and meet the team and see the excellent facilities for yourself."

"I have just collected Keo from another holiday at Benedict Farm.  She is a regular visitor to the farm, having been there on a number of occasions when we are away.  The reason I originally chose this kennels was because they would let her have a good run off the lead several times a day, and for a lively Weimeraner who is used to long daily walks off the lead this was of prime importance and I was also impressed with the cleanliness of the kennels. I have never been disappointed.  Keo always jumps out of the car wagging her tail when she arrives at the kennels, a sure sign that she is happy there. She is also a very fussy eater, but always eats her food when at the farm.  I would highly recommend this kennel for anyone considering boarding their dog.  It is more like a 5* doggy hotel."

"These are really excellent - they meet all the animal's needs - and more. Dogs are exercised regularly and as we live opposite we are witness to this. All dogs are treated with loving care and the kennels are scrupulously cleaned every day and are spotless on arrival and departure. Our Labrador obviously enjoys his stay (much tail wagging! as he goes through tbe gates) and there is absolutely no problem in getting him to stay at his 'holiday home'! We would recommend your kennels unreservedly to any one who asked!"

"I have boarded my cocker spaniel, Percy, with Tracy and Tim many times over 4 years now and I have never found anywhere better. Percy rushes in with a wagging tail and I am greeted with a happy, healthy dog on return. His excellent experience in kennels means I can relax knowing he is well looked looked after and loved. Tracy and Tim clearly enjoy looking after dogs and they have a real understanding for each individual dog's needs. I like the fact that there aren't too many dogs crowded in so that they can give the dogs enough time and attention and plenty of long walks. I wouldn't want to take Percy anywhere else and I have recommended many people who now use Tracy and Tim regularly. It really is a fantastic second home for Percy!"

"Summer stayed for two weeks, she obviously got far more exercise than I give her. She came back fitter and very happy with the whole experience. Many thanks for taking such great care!"

"Our three girl labs (two of whom are Tracy's pups, Sasha and Amber and Sadie, a rescue) have stayed at Benedict Farm on two occasions. Both times they have come home happy and healthy and we know they have been much loved by Tim and Tracy while we were away. They were able to accommodate all three together which is wonderful and we know that they get plenty of exercise when they are there. We would never board them anywhere else even though it takes us two hours to take them there! Thank you Tim and Tracy"

"Tracy and Tim run an exceptional kennels. It's a home away from home for our Golden Retriever, Rhett. I travel regularly on business and so Rhett spends an unusual amount of time in kennels and knowing that he is in very capable and safe hands makes leaving him that little bit easier as nobody likes to be away from their beloved doggy! And for Rhett it's such good fun at Benedict Farm Kennels that he doesn't even look back as he runs to Tracy when we drop him off!"

"We moved down to Sussex May 2006 with our 2 dogs, Sam and Amber. We wanted to go on holiday so had to find somewhere for the dogs to go on their holiday. After looking at a couple of places we came across Benedict Farm who were setting up boarding kennels, the main building at this point was still being built. Didn't let the dogs have a say but we decided to leave Sam and Amber whilst we went off on holiday. Now I'm not saying the dogs weren't pleased to see us when we got back BUT by the time we'd got home the dogs were asking when we would be going on our next holiday so they could stay at the Farm again!! Unfortunately we lost Sam to cancer, August 2008 and have now got another Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever who was one 29 August 2009, he is also happy at the kennels. We are very pleased with the service from Benedict Farm and trust Tracy and Tim."

"I have always found Benedict Farm Kennels excellent. They are large, airy, and very clean. My dog Inca has been staying there since she was a pup and really loves it and is always in good condition when I fetch her. The owners have a great understanding and love of dogs."

"We cannot recommend Benedict Farm Kennels enough. Our lovely black lab Griffin has a lot of enthusiasm for life (!) so were determined to use a kennel we could trust. As Griffin came from Shollamy labs, it was an unspoken certainty that we would take him back there for his hols. We needn't have worried about anything - when we left he didn't give so much as a backward glance and he had such a brilliant time he didn't want to come home (charming!) Tracy, Tim and the girls took such good care of him that he came home thoroughly exhausted but extremely happy! The kennels themselves are spotless and the facilities are exactly what you would expect (and more) of a kennel of high class. I would not hesitate in the slightest to recommend the kennels and Griffin definitely gives it his seal of approval - he can't wait for us to go away again so he can go back there!"

"Shadow has stayed at the boarding kennels three times since July 2008 and we've been very pleased. He gets plenty of exercise, just the right amount of food, and probably lots of fuss! He's always extremely well looked after."

"You cant make the owners feel better than to see their dogs eager and keen to leave the comfort of their car and join Tracy, and then be in no rush to jump in upon collection"

"There are several reasons why we board Obi at Benedict Farm Boarding Kennels. Tracy loves her dogs so much you know all the dogs in the kennels will have the best care possible. When Obi arrives at kennels, he is always excited to see Tracy. He always enjoys his stays and he is happy to return. We are very pleased with the care and attention he receives."

"A well run friendly family business, Tracy and Tim worked hard to settle my dog in when she was a puppy and now she is excited and happy to visit. Its an enormous relief to know she is happy and so well cared for when we are on holiday."

"Our two young labradoodles seem to love their "holidays" at Benedict Farm.
Kofi, the older of the two, gets really excited when he sees Tracy and Tim again, which makes leaving them there so much easier. When we pick them up they are always happy, healthy and clean. We always strongly recommend the kennels to all our friends who own dogs."

"Dear Tim and Tracy
Thank you for looking after my four dogs so well whilst we were away. They came home happy and healthy, with lovely shiny coats thanks to you brushing them with the furminator. I have now purchased one and can almost do away with my vacuum! It is lovely being able to holiday with the knowledge that my best friends are in such capable and caring hands. Thank you once again"

"We have been using Benedict Kennels for about 3 years now and our 2 Cocker spaniels Joe and Jarvis thoroughly enjoy their stays. Jarvis is a wee bit of an escapologist but Tracy & Tim have managed to keep him safe and secure. We know they are exercised and when they return home there are no upset tummies or sulking to contend with! We go away with peace of mind and can enjoy our time away knowing they are in safe hands. They pull to get in and they pull to get out! We can't thank Tracy and Tim enough for their care and hard work."

"I would highly recommend Benedict Farm Kennels to anyone. Tracy and Tim are lovely people who obviously care a great deal for all the dogs they look after and I trust them a hundred percent with my dog. Stan has a wonderful time when he goes to stay, his tail starts wagging as soon as we arrive and I feel like he is having a holiday as well as me. I was so worried about putting him in kennels before we found Benedict Farm, but it is clear when I come to pick him up he has not only been extremely well cared for but has really enjoyed himself. I don't think he misses me at all when he is there!"

"My 2 labs absolutely love coming to Shollamy Kennels - they become very excited as we pull in the gate and do not give us a second glance when we leave them happily running to their kennel or being taken for a stroll. The kennels are clean and well organized with all those involved obviously loving looking after the dogs in their care. On our return we are greeted by 2 very happy boys who sleep contentedly all the way home. We wouldn't leave our boys anywhere else"

"Hi Tracy and Tim

Very happy to provide a testimonial for the kennels but as Marley and Hendrix have pointed out.....they are the ones that stay with you so it should be their opinions that count.... Our owners don't get out much and certainly don't leave us often but when they do we like to stay with Tracy and Tim. We are a couple of Springer Spaniels, one of us is placid and easy going, the other is a bit of a handful and despite this we have a grand old time at Benedict Farm. It's warm, cosy and very welcoming without a doubt! We wish we could stay more often as it's home from home to us!".

"Having a holiday when you have 3 dogs can be a bit of an issue when noone wants to look after all 3. We came across Tracy on a forum that we use and went for a bit of a nose and what we found was what I think is my 3 labs second home
With a previous dog I owned who is sadly not with us anymore,we used kennels quite near where we live and found out when we picked Smudgey up that he was a nervous wreck and smelt very bad.It had taken me 13 years to even think of using a kennel. When one of the poster mentioned Tracy I just went and had a look and was very very impressed. We took my 3 spoilt pooches one sunday afternoon to have a look and straight away I felt at ease.Tracys kenels are spotless and the dogs we met all seemed happy.Leaving my dogs the following week was hard but I felt I could trust Tracy and left her in charge. When we collected them all 3 went mad to see us but I could see straight away how happy they all were (before when left the oldest sent us to coventry). Tracy has put me at complete ease now that not all kennels are bad So thank you Tracy and family for looking after my mad labs for me it was just lovely to be able to get away and relax without having to worry how they all were"

"We cannot praise Tim and Tracy of Benedict Farm enough.
We have two boisterous, sometimes badly behaved, boxers who had never been in kennels and we were nervous of leaving them. On our first visit Tracy took the time to get to know them and introduce them to the paddock. The dogs settled in straight away and after a few short stays we were confident enough to leave them for over a week. As we left they were playing in the paddock without a backward glance. They are regulars now always with reports of good behaviour and calm when back at home. The whole experience has been totally positive and we would not consider using any other kennels."

"We can't thank Tracy and Tim enough for their warmth and professionalism when we first boarded our german shep Bella with them last month. From our initial contact with Tracy over the phone to the day we collected her from her 4 day stay, we felt happy and assured that 'our girl' would be cared for as part of the 'extended' family at Benedict Farm. Being anxious first timers, we much appreciated Tracy's reassuring replies to our 'how's she doing' texts during Bella's stay. Of course the one who partook of Tracy and Tim's hospitality, our Bells, was the one whose opinion counts the most and on return to collect her we were met with a very happy, well cared for dog, who, although rather pleased to see us, also made a point of going for a 'bit of fussing' from Tim and Tracy too......what more can you say. Bella is now booked in for her second 'holiday' and we will be leaving her safe in the knowledge that she will be cared for by such lovely, genuine people."
